Long Term Disability (LTD) insurance helps replace a portion of your income for an extended period of time ceasing at Normal Retirement Age. 

The benefit amount is 60% of your pre-disability monthly earnings to a maximum monthly benefit of $6,000.  Benefits would begin as early as 30 days of disability. 

Performance Plastics covers the cost of this benefit on behalf of our employees.  Should you be approved for a claim, the payment from Sun Life would be taxable income to you.
